WoW Comic - Not a Panda by Lukali WoW Comic - Not a Panda by Lukali
Pandaren craziness in World of Furcraft!

Edit: Also wanna say thanks to all those people that has supported me by pointing out to Blizzard in various ways that this comic has been stolen for the comic contest by a random dude and published at their website. A site manager has contacted me and everything is solved!

Thanks for linking! Yup, seems so.

I've tried to contact Blizzard regarding stuff like this before, without any success. In addition I don't an american account, so I can't reply at the site itself. I have to figure something out :/

On a positive note, I see a lot of people on the forums telling Blizzard to remove this piece from their website. So even though there are crummy people out there who'll steal other's efforts like this, it warms the heart a little to know there are good people out there too. :)

Point out their rule #7:

"Original Work of Authorship.
You hereby warrant and represent that (a) you own all rights to all Entry Materials submitted by you; and (b) all such Entry Materials are original works of authorship on your part and have not been copied, in whole or in part, from any other work and do not violate, misappropriate or infringe any copyright, trademark or other proprietary right of any other person or entity."

Beyond that, if you have some attorney friends, ask them about your possible options. You don't have to exercise any of them, but just so you do know.

Sorry for the double-post, but deviantart rules are as follows concerning this:

"Can I use the works which I find on deviantART?
DeviantART possesses no ownership claim in any submission and cannot grant you any license or permission for use, only the artist may do so.

All original works found in the deviantART galleries are the copyrighted property of the submitting artist. If you want to use a work you will need to ask permission from the artist, who is free to set whatever terms and conditions they wish. You should always ask permission before using any work which was created by another artist.

To contact a member of deviantART, you may use whatever contact information the artist may have provided on their profile page, or you may send a personal note to the artist if you have your own deviantART account.

Stock submissions and certain submissions marked with a Creative Commons License already have certain terms and conditions attached and can be used without directly contacting the artist providing that you obey the rules set for each work (which may vary from work to work and from artist to artist)."

I sucks but those deviantART rules don't actually hold up in claims of copyright infringement. For something to be copyritted or licensed, there is actual paperwork that must be submitted and a legal process that must be followed. Posting on the website and citing it as licensed or copyrighted will not protect you if you have not followed this process. This best this person might get is creative rights.
